Wow! Glad this went so well and even the two shy girls performed. If I could add one salient point, the s’s were reading prepared work and some of them may have even practiced reading them aloud at home. This is a much safer way of speaking in class than thinking on your feet during discussion. What can you use from this specific knowledge of preparation to build towards spontaneous class discussion?
